/ January 30, 2009So because men work in these industries that should be the criteria for determining priorities??? Do you *think* maybe it had anything to do with the size of the industry and the impact they have on the larger economies in the region, of which 50% generally would be female??? I dunno…. don’t get me wrong, women for the large part have been shafted in the budget but to make ridiculous sexist statements about men is equally degrading as some right-wing nutbar saying that “women get all the money” – and for it to come from a public organization that is apparently supportive of diversity is even more galling.
